Please
refer to the ADMI Mark of Excellence,
which highlights the delivery characteristics of ADMI courses.
 |
The activity and deliverables within an ADMI course will vary. Lectures, videos, group work, presentations, exercises and invited speakers may be used to reinforce fundamental concepts and/or to demonstrate best practices. Assignments may require completion within each of the two 4-day modules, within the 6-week interval separating the 4-day modules, or within a period after the second 4-day-weekend module. Projects and assignments may be directed to individuals or to groups. They may require completion as written reports or as verbal presentations. Different combinations of teaching approaches, evaluation methods, assignments and projects may be used in each course. The anticipated workload outside of formal contact hours, but including course preparation, readings, assignments, projects etc., will be in the order of 60-90 hours per course. |
 |
All courses require full participation in two 4-day modules. Each module will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday and conclude on Sunday afternoon. The two modules of each course are typically separated by an interval of six weeks. However, the interval may vary from 5-8 weeks to avoid conflict with holiday weekends. No ADMI courses are scheduled Easter, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day and over Thanksgiving weekends and the Christmas/New Year season. |
