The
Board of Directors provides overall direction to ADMI. The role
of the Board is to anticipate and identify emerging requirements,
to build links to industry and to provide the catalysts to ensure
that the demands of industry can be effectively addressed within
the ADMI program. The Board provides overall direction to the ADMI
program and has ultimate responsibility for the program and financial
success of ADMI.
The
President of each of the four partner universities nominates one
university representative and one industry representative to serve
on the ADMI Board. Membership of the Board comprises the Dean or
his/her designate, of the Faculties of Engineering and/or Applied
Science from each of the partner universities, four industry representatives,
and the President of Materials Manufacturing Ontario (MMO) who serves
as the Founding Chair of the Board. In addition, the Presidents
of the partner universities collectively appoint one senior representative
or Dean from a partner university business and/or management school
to act as the business and management representative on the Board.
