The
ADMI M.Eng. program offers participants an exceptional opportunity to
receive world-class training from the faculty of not just one university,
but from outstanding professors and invited academic associates
at each of the partner universities and associate universities, as well as guest speakers from leading companies.
A
program candidate will apply to register at one of the four partner
universities. Once a candidate has been accepted into the ADMI
program, he/she is free to select courses presented by Course Leaders
from any of the partner universities. Upon completion of degree
requirements, the university at which the participant is registered
will grant the participant's M.Eng. Degree. Please see Partner
Universities for the specific degree offered by each university.
Program courses are designed with industry input to meet the advanced challenges and requirements faced by industry today and tomorrow. Courses are designed to provide participants with a well-rounded learning experience that is an effective balance between advanced academic training and pragmatic industrial application and experience.
The ADMI program is presented in a focused, time-compressed modular format designed to allow practicing engineers to pursue a Masters Degree while continuing to work at their present jobs. Each course is presented as a set of two 4-day-weekend modules; each module involves approximately 30 hours of lectures, discussion and application work. The schedule is designed so that each course module is separated by a 6-week (approximate) interval to facilitate the learning process and to allow for selected projects and assignments to be undertaken.
ADMI courses are structured to include a variety of elements including classroom lectures and discussions, case studies, guest speakers, company visits and practical industrial applications, individual coaching and group interaction.
ADMI program course scheduling requires participants to dedicate four consecutive days of focused participation in a specific course module. Course modules run Thursday through Sunday. Scheduling of Thursday and Friday requires employers to contribute two full days of time for their employee to participate in the course, recognizing that the employee is contributing his or her personal time to participate on Saturday and Sunday. This commitment to shared-time for participation by employer and employee is seen as a very attractive feature of the ADMI program. |
